Technical Manager

Strategic and leadership!

         

As a Technical Manager, you are responsible for leading and directing the technical department. You ensure the highest level of maintenance, readiness and repair to maintain the operational viability of terminal facilities and operational handling equipment. Join our team and play a crucial role in maintaining technical excellence! 

✔Responsible for the strategy of the Technical Department in order to support & achieve our Terminal goals and KPIs’;

✔Manages the technical department budget, ensuring cost control and alignment with financial procedures;

✔Takes accountability for daily management, displaying ethical leadership and support of direct reports;

✔Drive technical innovation, future-proof support in coordinate engineering activities;

✔Provide operating direction, meeting productivity and efficiency standards;

✔Align with HSE to uphold safety, environmental standards, identifying areas for improvement;

✔Promotes effective communication and alignment within the department and with other teams;

Critical Qualifications and Skills:

• Several years of relevant experience in related leadership position, preferably in a maintenance environment of heavy equipment;
• Strong analytical, pragmatic and result orientated;
• Project management experience is considered a strong advantage;
• Experienced people management;
• Fluent in verbal and written communication in English and Dutch.
